I went to the "Skacel" open house today. I won these peek-a-boo rain or garden boots, made especially to show off my knitted socks. I will now have to knit a few pairs of knee-high socks to accomodate these boots, since as you can see I only have these calf-high socks that I knit two years ago. I was able to get a tour of their facility and in case you didn't know, Skacel is the company that makes my favorite "addi Turbo" knitting needles. They had games and activites to which a person could win paper dollars and then cash their dollars in for items. I needed 30 paper dollars in order to win these boots and I did it!..Anyway I enjoyed my tour and the games and activities, this would be a fun company to work for.
