The size shown here is 0-6 months, and knits up using a 210-225yd. skein. For larger sizes you will need more. This is a pattern worth knitting again and again. Next time I knit this cardigan I want to make my own covered buttons to give it a more personalized look. Sometimes the right buttons can be hard to find, so covering my own would be fun.
