I recently purchased this display mannequin from Amazon. I have only one display form that I purchased about eight years ago, it has a heavier round wooden base and works very well, but I am pleasantly surprised that this display form is quite nice. The body part is black and pins go in easy. The base is real wood and nicely made. I like using these display forms instead of a hanger to display my knitting on. I just fold
a yard of fabric in half lengthwise and pinned it around the lower edge of the body form and this way it covers up the metal support pole. I'm very happy with this, and ordered one more, they are very reasonably priced at around $48. I looked at other display forms similar to this one, but they range around $60 dollars and up. So this one is a good choice.
This sweater is the finished version of the one I showed in a previous post titled "Center front cable sweater." This sweater is knit in the round in one piece and is knit in bulky yarn by Berroco. Click on photo to enlarge.
